A Lindo Story
Lindo was created as part of FOCUS Affaires, a school-based entrepreneurship and business program. After a productive and educational semester, Julien Hodge and James Beler, two of the founders, decided to continue the project. After considering the benefits of continuing the business, they reinvented Lindo with the intention of continuing to learn about entrepreneurship and giving back to their community.

As an athlete and entrepreneur, I'm a person who loves a good competition and a challenge. My goal in all my projects is to develop as a person while contributing to my community. Through Lindo and our products, I hope to help people spread joy, love, and happiness, as I learn more about entrepreneurship.

James Beler
As a young businessman, I believe that learning as much as possible is the best way to advance and improve myself at this stage of my life. That's one of the reasons why I decided to pursue this adventure. I wanted to learn the basics of setting up a business and have a positive impact on the community.

Mission
Community involvement is foundational to Lindo's mission. In an effort to spread kindness in our community, Lindo is committed to donating 10% of its annual profits to The Royal, an Ottawa-based mental health care and research center. As the company expands we hope to help with a variety of events and initiatives on the local level.

On Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, one of Lindo's founders, Julien Hodge got the opportunity to speak on CTV News Ottawa as an alumni of Junior Achievement Ottawa and the Ottawa Network for Education. Julien spoke about how Lindo's origins, evolution, and plan for the future!

Lindo at the Phresh 3v3 Basketball tournament
On Saturday, July 15th, 2023, Lindo's founders, Julien Hodge and James Beler had the opportunity to attend the Phresh 3v3 Basketball Tournament. They provided custom greeting cards to the tournament's winners and sold Lindo's cards in person for the first time!​
